Y.E.S. by Johannes Schropp

this session will be a shared mosh pit practice, I am currently researching on. moshing originates from pogo dance and has a close relation to metal and hardcore music and -culture. as mosh pits, encountered in the wild, are often primarily reserved to only a certain type of (male) body, i am wondering how this might become an inclusive and caring space. my proposal is to experience how to ragingly care, how to crash softly, kick farsighted, gently pushing whatever 'physical extreme' might mean to each participant. bring clothes you can move and sweat in!

johannes likes to move, to test bodies, and installing them in spaces. he is currently studying choreography & performance in giessen.
